Creative Campus Assembly

Have you wanted to make a difference on Alabama’s campus, but the usual organizations seem too mundane? Are you looking for a setting to express yourself and your ideas to people who want to put those thoughts into action?

Then you need to look no further than the Creative Campus Assembly.

Creative Campus Assembly, in partnership with Creative Campus Initiative is a dynamic organization for students, faculty, and staff to come together to support the arts and creative activity at The University of Alabama.

While in the assembly you will have the ability to see what life around Maxwell Hall is like. You will also have a hands on experience in the planning and execution of a campus wide project.

The assembly also offers students a non binding look into the life of a creative campus intern. The creative campus assembly has worked as a breeding ground for excellent creative campus interns, and at present has a 100% success rate for students who decide to make the move from assembly member to intern applicant.

Finally, as a creative campus intern you will have the chance to work on the Award winning and CCBP recognized Unbound Art Show. This event is created to expand the capabilities and confidence of individuals with disabilities through artistic resources.

Here is what veteran assembly member Cara Smith had to say on the program:

"At Creative Campus, we strive to give students opportunities to put
their creative ideas into action. Got one? THIS is the place to come!
Located in Maxwell Hall, Creative Campus allows students from all sorts
of backgrounds to partner with us in orchestrating and facilitating
their innovative ideas: art shows, festivals, poetry slams, film
contests; the possibilities are absolutely endless. This is the perfect
organization to get on board with for those of you who are just looking to
help out every once in a while with projects as well as for those students
who are looking to dive in and see their own creativity make a
difference at UA."
