Costa U. of Blue Greekfest
The Greekfest committee and Costa Sunglasses are pleased to announce the artist lineup for this years Costa U. of Blue Greekfest, being held Friday, August 27th 2010 at the University of Alabama. The show will feature three different performances. Best known for their fast-paced rapping style and harmonizing vocals, Hip Hop legend Bone Thugs -N- Harmony will kick off the night. Chart topper Slightly Stoopid will mix reggae and punk sounds into one smooth stylistic cocktail as the second act of the night. Pretty Lights will headline the event with their electro organic cutting-edge party rocking beats that fill venues with energy and emotion and send dance floors into frenzies.
In light of recent events in the Gulf Coast region, all proceeds from this non-profit event will go to CCA Alabama, an organization dedicated to conserving the coastlines in the State of Alabama for future generations to enjoy.
Matt Eastman of TVs Wanna Go Fishing fame will emcee the event, and Costa will be giving away sunglasses and other gear throughout the night. For video & pictures from last years event visit www.uofblue.com.
