Lauren Breland

A junior at the University of Alabama, Lauren Breland hails from the bustling metropolis of Winfield, Alabama and is incredibly excited to intern for Creative Campus this academic year. Her major is psychology, a field which she plans to pursue into a doctorate degree; she aspires to one day spend hours on end listening to people talk about their problems, and perhaps solve a few of them as well. By also obtaining a minor in Women’s Studies, Ms. Breland hopes to learn to view the world from all possible perspectives and help spread the message that all people are created equally, regardless of gender, race, sexuality, or belief. While adopting a vegetarian lifestyle and anti-cruelty policy, Lauren humbly fights for the much-deserved yet overlooked rights of animals (as in her opinion, they are much nicer than many humans). Her other interests include literature, art, feminism, fast music, and her lovely Dachshund, Lola.
