Want to help heal your community and further creativity? The Nest Project needs volunteers to help collect tornado debris in the Tuscaloosa area on February 4th and 5th! An artist will use the collected debris for a larger-than-life nest sculpture that will be displayed as a symbol of hope and healing in the midst of the tornado's recovery zone. The sculpture will provide those affected by the April tornado with a compelling symbol of recovery, comfort, warmth, and growth. Once the nest is assembled, Creative Campus will host a painting event in which the community is welcomed to come and add their own bright brush stroke to the sculpture. Thus, the Nest Project will symbolically and literally weave together pieces of the Tuscaloosa community.
