In trying to come up with new ways to inspire our interns and campus to learn about new and innovative practices in the arts, we’ve decided to have a Friday brown-bag lunch series at Maxwell Hall featuring some of our favorite people! We’re asking about 6 faculty/staff/community members to come to Maxwell and join in some good old fashioned “show & tell” of the new interesting arts or innovation they’re into at the moment. The format will be simple – arrive at Maxwell at noon on Friday (dates listed below) – the interns will have the floor for the first 10 minutes to share the newest things they’re into, then our guest speaker will be given 20-30 minutes to casually present the arts they’re into, then we’ll have open ended conversation. The hope is not only to learn about new cutting edge arts, but also to inspire new ideas of what’s possible in the arts in Tuscaloosa.
Attendance is limited to 30 interns per session. Tickets required.
