Joseph Wood's TYE Poetry & Place 09/10/10

When:
Fri, 09/10/2010 - 12:00pm

Joseph Wood will talk about the idea of performing arts/dramatic readings in non-traditional spaces--in particular, the poetry hike on Sat. 9/19/2010 and the undergrad reading at the Cahaba National Wildlife Preserve on on Friday 9/18.  Additionally, he will talk about the necessity of challenging convention and art performace.  What is a stage? What is a reading? Who is a reader? What does one's own creative work get transformed by place and other performers besides the writer/musician, etc.

FOR INTERNS ONLY

Attendance is limited to 30 interns per session. Tickets required.
