Creative Campus

In the fall of 2006, Creative Campus gave residents of the new Lakeside Residence Hall an opportunity to take ownership of their building's aesthetic feel. Students and RAs met on September 6 to toss around ideas for what they wanted to see in the hall's common areas. After getting the Residential Housing Administration's stamp of approval, the residents reconvened on September 19 to turn their ideas into action. Creative Campus provided snacks, canvases and paints, and the students created original artwork that became permanent fixtures on Lakeside's once-drab walls. Creative Campus hosted a reception on October 12 to unveil the paintings.
