Rock the Runway
Rock the Runway is a collaborative effort between Creative Campus, University Programs, and Fashion, Inc. which is to be held on Thursday, January 21, 2010 in the Ferguson Center Ballroom. Rock the Runway will be a student organized fashion show consisting only of student designers promoting the arts through the world of fashion design. Not only will Rock the Runway hold a special place for up and coming designers but will also promote the talents of photographers, artists, and musicians as well. This will be the third year of Rock the Runway making it an annual event hosted on the campus of The University of Alabama. It will be a FREE event open to students and the Tuscaloosa community as well. A reception will follow the event. Rock the Runway will consist of three major components: music, media, and design. Student designers participating in the show have interned with professional firms such as Burberry, Alexander McQueen, and Donna Karan.
