Jake Smith is a Junior in New College, hailing from Montgomery, Alabama. He finds fascination in many things from guitar rock to a good, though not necessarily great, sandwich. Also appreciates solid craftsmanship. His interests include playing music, being around other people, and long walks on the beach. He will work to foster the arts community in Tuscaloosa, which has so far managed to work up enough momentum to carry along on its inertia. He will also strive to make the worst puns imaginable. He looks forward to adding a dynamic mix of seriousness and spontaneity to this year's batch of interns. He is a dog person.
